Two New Sets Arrive in The Sims 4 Marketplace: Chrome Dining Room and North American Power Outlets
Just a week after the previous update, The Sims 4 Marketplace has received another addition. On April 23, two new sets appeared in the catalog: Krom N Dine by Pierisim and North American Power Set by SixamCC. The first focuses on an elegant chrome dining room, while the second continues the series of decorative switches and outlets — this time in a North American design. Prices are 300 and 200 Moola respectively, but due to the way the currency is sold, you'll still end up paying more.
Earlier, we covered the Marketplace launch, the first sets, as well as how hackers bypassed the platform's protection.
Krom N Dine Maker Pack by Pierisim
Price: 300 Moola
Pierisim is already known to players from the launch set Soft Lines Living. The new pack is dedicated to a dining area in a "chrome and wood" style. The set includes 8 items: a table, chairs, a sideboard, and chrome decanter and cups. The style is elegant, with shiny metal surfaces combined with wood and leather.
The description notes that the furniture is "simple and versatile," allowing players to feel like true interior design experts, playing with contrasts of color and texture.
North American Power Set Maker Pack by SixamCC
Price: 200 Moola
SixamCC continues her series of decorative switches and outlets. She previously released the European Home Power Set, and now presents the North American version. The set includes decorative switches and outlets in 10 color swatches: White, Brown, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Tan, Red, Dark Gray, and Beige.
The set is designed to add realism to interiors — these small details "complete the look" of any room, whether a kitchen, bedroom, or living room. Like the previous European set, the items easily match different wall colors and styles.
The Pricing Problem: 200 and 300 Moola Still Become $5 or More
Both sets cost 300 and 200 Moola. At first glance, that's $3 and $2. The problem, as always, is that Moola is only sold in bundles of 200, 500, 1,000, 2,600, and 5,500. You can technically buy exactly 200 Moola (that bundle exists for $2.49), but to get 300 Moola you'd have to buy 500 Moola for $4.99 (leaving 200 unused) or 200+200 for $4.98. So the real cost of the Krom N Dine set is about $5, while the North American Power Set costs about $2.49 (but then you have zero leftover Moola, which is fine).
Still, the "can't buy exactly what you need" problem remains. Players are still forced to overpay or leave unused currency.
Community Reaction
No major scandals yet. Pierisim is praised for stylish furniture, and SixamCC for attention to detail. However, many still point out that creators receive only 30% of sales, with EA taking 70%. That's why many prefer to support creators directly through Patreon.
The Marketplace continues its weekly rhythm: new sets every week, the same currency problems every time. Nevertheless, Pierisim and SixamCC offer quality content: an elegant dining room and realistic power outlets. Whether to buy is up to you. If you've already accepted the Marketplace's existence, these sets might be a nice addition to your collection.
