Free Sets of the Final Wave
Giant Eraser Lamp by HAENBI
Free, 1 item
HAENBI, already familiar to players from the Fresh Picked Kitchen set released last month, is now offering an unusual decor item – a desk lamp shaped like a checkered office eraser. Despite its simplicity, the lamp has a bright and memorable design, available in 8 color variants.
"Inspired by office supplies, the humble eraser has been reborn as a lamp! Its shape is simple, yet the color palette and grid pattern give it a kitsch charm, while the soft, washed-out tones bring a calm and modern sensibility to any space," the description reads.
The lamp is perfect for a desk or a cozy reading nook. However, player reactions have been mixed. In the comments, users express confusion about the design: "What in the world is that ugly lamp? Like what is it even supposed to represent lol." Others note that the item looks strange and unclear.
Lily Dress by Serenity
Free, 1 item
Serenity, who previously participated in the Free Maker Drops promotion, has released a boho-style dress. The Lily Dress is a mini dress with lace details and flowing sleeves. Inspiration came from "dreamy sims who always seem to end up in complicated love triangles." The dress is available in 10 color swatches – from soft pastels to darker, richer shades.
The description recommends it for festival nights, countryside adventures, and "all the cinematic moments in between."
Players have received the dress warmly, calling it "cute." However, some found it not original enough: "The dress is cute but meh." Another user pointed out a discrepancy: "Flowy sleeves on a tank dress? Am I blind? I don't see sleeves at all."
Paid Set of the Week
Simonne Set by Mechtasims
Price: 400 Moola ($4 USD), 7 items
Mechtasims, who previously released the Nona Set and Cleo Set, is offering a new living room set. Unlike the free items, this one includes 7 pieces for furnishing a modern, minimalist space.
What's inside:
- Sofa and armchairs with natural textures;
- Coffee table;
- Wall decor;
- Soft accessories and clutter items.
All items are available in several color variants – from pastels to darker, richer shades.
Important update: the set was originally priced at 300 Moola, but shortly after release, the price was raised to 400 Moola. This caused dissatisfaction among players who noticed the change. In the comments, one user wrote: "The price was changed to 400." Another added: "None of Mechtasims sets ever match the game. they all look like they belong in sims 3 or something. So out of place."
Despite the criticism, some players noted that the set resembles the style of Paralives.
Community Reaction
The new wave of sets has drawn mixed reactions. The free items received mixed reviews: many found the eraser lamp strange and confusing, while the dress was seen as cute but unoriginal.
The paid Simonne Set faced criticism for the price increase and a style that, according to some players, doesn't fit the overall aesthetic of The Sims 4.
Some speculated that HAENBI might be a pseudonym for a long-time creator who doesn't want to damage their reputation by participating in the Marketplace: "Who is Haenbi? They appeared out of thin air just to release stuff on the marketplace. I heard they're actually a long time creator who knows the marketplace is toxic, but they still want to make extra money, so they made a new username so their actual reputation doesn't take a hit."
The final wave of the Free Maker Drops promotion started on July 16. This is the last chance to claim free items as part of the promotion. Each free set will be available for four weeks, so you have time, but it's better not to put it off – once it's gone, it won't come back. Check the Marketplace at least once a week so you don't miss anything.
