Cuddly Cryptids Mini-Set by BrazenLotus
Free, 2 items
BrazenLotus, already familiar to players from previous sets, has prepared a cozy mini-set that adds a touch of forest magic to any home. The set includes two items:
A decorative pillow featuring cryptid prints (bigfoot, yeti, and other mysterious creatures). Available in several color variants – from cozy plaid patterns to calm solid colors.
A wooden shelf inspired by "northern mountains and forests." The perfect spot to display your favorite small toys and trinkets.
As players have noted, the bigfoot and yeti pillows are especially adorable. However, in the comments on the Sims Community article, one user speculated that this set might be part of a larger paid set that will appear later. A similar theory was already raised about the rocket bed from the previous wave.
Splendid Canvases by Peacemaker
Free, 2 items
Peacemaker, already known to players from the Spindi Dining Room set released at the Marketplace launch, has prepared a collection of wall art. The set includes two art styles:
Botanical Beauty – stylized botanical prints with flowers and plants, adding life and color to any room.
Alluring Abstract – modern canvases with waves, clouds, and abstract patterns, perfect for minimalist and contemporary spaces.
Both styles are available in several color variants, making them easy to match with any interior – from modern lofts in San Myshuno to country homes in Henford-on-Bagley.
Cleo Set by Mechtasims
Price: 200 Moola ($2 USD), 8 items
Mechtasims, who previously released the Nona Set (16 clutter items), is now offering a bedroom set in a minimalist and airy style. Unlike previous waves where free sets consisted of one or two items, this one includes 8 items for furnishing a bedroom.
What's inside:
- A double bed – the centerpiece of the set.
- A floral rug – adds softness and coziness.
- An ottoman – extra seating or a decorative element.
- A floating end table – a modern storage solution.
- A lamp – creates a warm atmosphere.
- Wall art – completes the room's look.
- Clutter items – small details that make the space feel lived-in.
All items are available in several color variants – from bold accents to muted neutrals – making them easy to fit into any interior.
Community Reaction
Players have greeted the new wave with interest. The free sets have received positive feedback. The cryptid pillows have been especially praised – they add personality and coziness to any interior.
However, the paid Cleo Set has drawn mixed reactions. The main complaint is the price. Many users feel that 200 Moola (around $2) for 8 items is reasonable, but some still refuse to buy Moola on principle.
In the comments on the Sims Community article, one user wrote: "I'm getting the feeling these free for a limited time items are actually bits from maker packs they plan to sell later, and they're giving parts away now to try to entice people who grabbed them to buy the full sets. The rocket bed and yeti pillow especially feel like they're missing matching furniture."
Nevertheless, most agree that free sets are always a nice bonus, even if you don't plan to use paid content.
The sixth and final wave of free sets starts on July 16. This is the last chance to claim free items as part of the promotion. The names of the creators and the contents are still a secret.
Each free set is available for four weeks, so you have time, but it's better not to put it off – once it's gone, it won't come back. Check the Marketplace at least once a week so you don't miss anything.
