Week Two of Free Maker Drops: Japandi Essentials, Monolith Office, and Candy Wonderland
The second week of the Free Maker Drops promotion has delivered four free items from SixamCC and ValiaSims. Alongside them, a paid set — Candy Wonderland Kids Bedroom, also by SixamCC — has appeared in the Marketplace. Here’s what you can claim for free, what you’ll have to pay for, and what players are saying.
What Are Free Maker Drops and Why Do They Matter?
As a reminder: from June 11 through July 16, 2026, the Sims 4 Marketplace is hosting a promotion in which creators release free sets of one or two items. Each set is available for four weeks from its release date. In week two, the creators outdid themselves — instead of the three items we saw last time, players can now grab four free items.
The first drop gave us velvet bow heels by Miiko and the “Sit Next to Me” sofa set by Taurus, which we covered in our previous article. Now it’s time for Japanese minimalism and a monumental office.
Week Two Free Sets
Japandi Bedroom Essentials by SixamCC
If you already own the Japandi Home Bedroom starter set or the living room from the same series, this mini‑set is the perfect addition. SixamCC has added two key pieces that were missing to complete a Japandi‑style bedroom:
- A single bed with clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves.
- A full‑length mirror with a wooden frame and leather details — not only functional but also creating a sense of space and calm.
Both items come in 10 wood tones, making it easy to match them to any interior. These pieces will fit just as well in a modern apartment as in a more traditional home.
Monolith Office Collection by ValiaSims
If Japandi is about cosiness and calm, the Monolith Office Collection is about status and modernity. The set consists of two items:
- The Monolith desk with a marble top, available in 12 marble finishes — from classic white to deep, dramatic tones. As the description puts it, this is “a monumental foundation for a computer that looks incredibly thin and light.”
- The Luum Air Desktop computer — an ultra‑thin all‑in‑one in the style of modern workstations, available in 11 colourways — from soft pastels to deep, saturated tones.
This set is designed for those who see their office as a gallery. The contrast between the massive marble desk and the weightless computer creates a workspace that feels meticulously thought out.
“The Monolith Office Collection was created for the Sim who sees their office as a gallery. This set focuses on the striking contrast between the timeless and the contemporary,” the creators note.
Paid Set of the Week
Candy Wonderland Kids Bedroom by SixamCC
Price: 400 Moola, 20 items
This set is dedicated to a children’s room in a “candy wonderland” style. Unlike the free offerings, this one includes a full 20 items, all about fairy tales, bright colours, and boundless imagination.
What’s inside:
- The Gummy Bear Bed — the centrepiece of the set. Available in two sizes: for toddlers and for older children. Both versions come in 12 colourways.
- Illustrated wallpaper with candy patterns.
- Furniture and decor shaped like lollipops, cupcakes, and other sweets.
- Pastel tones for those who love softness, and dark, saturated shades for fans of gothic or darker aesthetics.
“The Gummy Bear Bed comes in toddler and single sizes, so the magic grows with your Sims. Whether you’re decorating a dreamy corner for a little one or creating the quirkiest kids’ room in the neighbourhood, this set offers endless possibilities,” the developers promise.
The set is priced at 400 Moola (around $4–5 depending on how you buy the currency). Unlike the free drops, it will be available permanently.
Community Reaction
Players have greeted the new wave of free sets with noticeable enthusiasm. In the comments on the Sims Community article, users note that the Japandi Bedroom Essentials are a great addition for those who were missing quality beds in the base game.
The computer from the Monolith Office Collection has been especially praised — it’s been compared to an iMac, and players have noted that it will be useful not only in home offices but also on community lots.
There are also those who refuse to buy paid sets but don’t mind freebies: “I skipped the shoes knowing I’d never use them, but I grabbed everything else. I’ll take free stuff any day.”
As for the paid Candy Wonderland set, opinions are divided: some are delighted by the concept and the bright design, while others feel that 400 Moola for a set — even with 20 items — is still a bit steep. However, most agree that SixamCC’s quality is consistently high.
The third wave of free sets starts on June 25. The creators and the exact contents are still under wraps, but the promotion already includes Serenity, Syboulette, Miiko, SixamCC, Taurus, ValiaSims, AlexCroft, HYDRA, BrazenLotus, Peacemaker, HAENBI, and Boschiana.
Each free set is available for four weeks, so you have time — but it’s better not to put it off, because once it’s gone, it won’t come back. Check the Marketplace at least once a week so you don’t miss anything.
