Paralives Next Week Patch: Reimporting Assets Fix, Save Loading Issues, and Infant/Toddler Bugs
The Paralives developers have announced another early access update, which will be released next week. Just a few days after the release of the major patch 0.1.3 featuring the Unpacking collaboration and teen romance, the team is already preparing a new round of fixes. The focus is on the critical "Reimporting assets" bug, save loading problems, as well as improvements to infant and toddler behavior. We are publishing the full list of what the developers are currently working on.
Announcement from the Developers: Patch Is Already on the Way
On June 11, 2026, the official Paralives account on X posted a message confirming that the team is working on the next update. The post states:
"Here are a few more known issues we're working on, and our upcoming patch will be out next week!" — with a call to refer to the troubleshooting post.
The team also directed players to a special Steam post for temporary solutions and details.
Known Issues: What the Developers Are Working On
The developers listed the key bugs they plan to fix as a priority.
Saves and City
Endless loading with "Reimporting assets" message. The game freezes on this screen when launching with mods enabled. The developers have confirmed they are actively working on a fix, and as a temporary solution they recommend referring to a special Steam post about troubleshooting launch and save issues.
Empty city when loading a save. Sometimes when loading a file, all buildings in the city disappear. The developers advise trying to reload the save or switch to another household.
Floating objects. Sometimes objects can be seen floating in the air. It is recommended to reload the save or switch to another household.
Other Fixes
Cannot change outfit or see outfits. A problem with displaying and changing clothes. The developers are working on a fix.
Issues with infants and toddlers. The team is fixing various bugs related to caring for the youngest Parafolk.
The developers remind players that this is far from all the errors they are aware of. The team continues to investigate and collects reports through the in‑game bug reporting tool.
What Has Already Been Fixed? Hotfix 0.1.3b
On June 12, 2026, the day after the announcement, the developers released an emergency hotfix 0.1.3b. The update addresses one of the most critical problems hindering gameplay:
Fixed an issue where players would get stuck on the "Reimporting assets" screen when launching the game with mods installed.
This hotfix is already available for download.
