InZOI Lavender City: New World Rumors and Kjun's Hint in Discord
The InZOI community is buzzing again: mentions of a new world with the codename "Lavender City" have been discovered in the game files. Players are speculating that the developers are preparing a European-style expansion, inspired by the French countryside. The game's director Kjun himself seems to have hinted at the validity of these rumors with two emojis – a lavender flower and a purple heart.

What Was Found in the Game Files?
It all started when Reddit user polkacat12321 discovered mentions of some mysterious objects in the InZOI game files (versions 0.3.x and 0.4.0). Among them were lines with the names E02 LavenderCity, as well as two slots called PurpleCity. The discussion gained momentum, and within a few months, players were seriously wondering: what exactly is this "Lavender City"?
Since the files also contained references to traditional European and Korean architecture, users suggested that the new world might be designed in the spirit of the French province, such as Provence. The rumors were further supported by the June update, which added 17 pieces of furniture in a European antique style to the game. It's possible that these assets were developed specifically for the new world, rather than just expanding the build catalog.
Kjun's Reaction: A Hint or a Coincidence?
For a long time, the developers remained silent, and fans made their own guesses. However, recently the game's director, Kjun, noticed the discussion in the official Discord server and reacted to it. He left a laughing reaction under a player's message that contained lavender and purple heart emojis.
The community interpreted this as a hint that their guesses were correct and that "Lavender City" is indeed in development. After all, if the rumors were false, the developers would most likely have denied them rather than fueling interest.
Again, all of this was happening back in the winter of 2025, and now players are simply remembering it and deciding to reignite interest. On the other hand, half a year later, the new city could have gotten closer to release or at least some kind of announcement from the developers. It's not like these files were found in the game for no reason.
Confirmed Plans: Canvastown
It's worth remembering that besides the rumors, InZOI also has officially announced plans. Earlier, Kjun and the team confirmed the development of a new world called Canvastown. Unlike other cities, it will be smaller in size and designed in a countryside style. Its main goal is to provide better performance while allowing more lots to be placed.
Canvastown will also be the first location where players can share entire city saves with each other. Interestingly, Canvastown was announced after the PurpleCity slots were discovered, so some players believe it has already taken one of the mysterious slots.
The rumors about "Lavender City" have not yet been officially confirmed. But Kjun's reaction and the discovered files in the game make this theory quite plausible. It's possible that the developers are indeed preparing a colorful French-style world for players, which will become the next major expansion after Canvastown.
We'll have to wait for official news from Krafton and hope that soon we'll be shown not just files, but actual screenshots of the future city. For now, all that remains is to speculate and imagine.
