The Sims 4 “Lost Legacies” Event: Rewards Overview
EA and Maxis have officially launched a brand-new The Sims 4 event — Lost Legacies. The event began on February 3 and will run through March 16, 2026. During this time, players can earn exclusive rewards by completing special weekly quests.
Let’s take a closer look at what the developers have prepared for this new in-game event.
Official Event Trailer
Alongside the launch of the event, an official trailer was released, showcasing the overall concept of Lost Legacies and previewing some of the rewards tied to dynasties, family heirlooms, and long-buried secrets of the past.
Event Roadmap
The event spans four weeks. Each week introduces new quests, which reward players with Event Points upon completion. These points can then be used to unlock rewards.
Additional bonus items will be available to players who own specific expansion packs. For example, owners of The Sims 4: Horse Ranch will be able to unlock a unique new saddle set for horses.
Below is a list of rewards known at this time. It will be updated as more information becomes available.
Weekly Rewards
Week 1
Players can earn several items connected to the Darong family’s history and aristocratic heritage:
- Darong Family Key
- Antique Display Table for Heirlooms
- Cordelia Thebe I Dedication Ceremonial Window (Life & Death expansion exclusive)
- Darong Family Heirloom Easel
- Luxurious Morning Robes
Week 2
The second week continues the theme of ancient families and long-standing values:
- Elegant Weathered Key
- Capp Family Key
- Antique Gemstone Ring
- Capp Family Library Bookcase
Week 3
Week three introduces rewards that affect not only visuals but also gameplay:
- Thebe Family Key
- Embossed Filigree Eye Patch
- New Lot Type — Luxury Residence
Week 4
The final week offers the most unusual rewards:
- A Creepy yet Stylish Skeleton Key
- Front-Laced Women’s Corset
- New Aspiration — Stone in Your Pocket
Event Menu and Progress Tracking
All information related to the event can be accessed:
- via the Event tab in the game’s main menu;
- or through the new event icon located in the top-left corner of the Live Mode interface.
This menu displays your current progress, the number of Event Points earned, and a list of unlocked rewards.
In total, Lost Legacies features eight quests, with two new quests becoming available each week.
Event Reward Preview
The Lost Legacies event includes 18 unique exclusive rewards, such as:
- new CAS items;
- a horse saddle available in Create a Horse;
- furniture and collectible objects for Build Mode;
- gameplay features, including a new lot type and a new aspiration.
In addition to exclusive items, players will also earn extra utility rewards while completing quests. These are not event-exclusive but can still be useful in everyday gameplay.
Event Dates and Requirements
The Sims 4: Lost Legacies event runs from February 3 to March 16, 2026, and is available to all players with the base game.
However, owners of The Sims 4: Realm of Magic, The Sims 4: Horse Ranch, and The Sims 4: Life & Death will be able to unlock additional rewards not available in the standard version of the event.
