Leak: Two The Sims 4 Bridgerton Kits to Be Revealed Today
Electronic Arts continues its string of high-profile collaborations in The Sims 4. Following the recent partnership with the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, the developers are preparing to announce two new kits inspired by the popular Netflix series Bridgerton. Information about them accidentally appeared in the Base Game's pack filters, forcing EA to confirm the leak and announce an imminent presentation.
Two sets based on the series Bridgerton
According to the leaked data, two themed kits will appear in the game:
"The Sims 4 Lady Bridgerton’s Masquerade Ball Fashion Kit" – a Create‑a‑Sim (CAS) kit dedicated to a Regency‑era masquerade ball.
"The Sims 4 Lady Bridgerton’s Masquerade Ballroom Kit" – a Build kit that will add ballroom elements and decorative items in the show's style.
Both kits started appearing in the Base Game's pack filters, and attentive players managed to take screenshots – thanks to Sims Community authors OwlWolf and Karlazos.
Rumors of the collaboration first emerged back on February 25, 2026, when The Sims Team posted a photo of a Sim resembling a Bridgerton character with the caption "the tea is HOT". However, no details followed – until today.
Forced Acknowledgment: "Tea Is Served Tomorrow"
The leak in the game filters forced EA to comment. The official Sims X account posted a short message:
Thus, the official announcement is expected today, May 7, 2026. A trailer and likely a feature blog will be shown.
Recently, in one of The Sims' promo videos, the developers hinted that "collaborations and partnerships" would continue. Obviously, projects like this were what they meant.
Price and Format: Following the SpongeBob Model
The previous SpongeBob collaboration consisted of two kits:
"SpongeBob Kid’s Room" (CAS + Build)
"SpongeBob’s House Kit" (Build only)
By analogy, the Bridgerton collaboration will likely follow a similar pattern:
Each kit separately – around 700 Moola (roughly $7).
Bundle of two kits – 1000 Moola (about $10) with bonus items for a limited time.
PC and Mac players buying through EA App or Steam will still have the option to pay with real currency.
Additionally, an in‑game Live Event themed around the series may launch alongside the kits – as was the case with SpongeBob.
Why Did the Leak Happen?
Previously, information about new kits was stored locally in the game files, allowing data miners to find it long before release. However, with the Marketplace update that allows kits to be downloaded directly in‑game and played without restarting, kit metadata is now pulled from EA's online servers. This led to the early appearance of the names in the filters – the system pulled them before the developers could officially announce them.
What's Next?
The official trailer and detailed blog about the new kits will appear today, May 7, at 10 am PT. We will update the article with exact pricing, item lists, and any possible in‑game event once the information is released.
