inZOI News: Latest Updates and Multiplayer Inspired by the President
The past few weeks for the inZOI development team have been dedicated to actively addressing community feedback and fixing longstanding issues. Development Director Kjun candidly admitted to correcting oversights, stating, "While reviewing your feedback, we also corrected a few things that, as a developer, I felt a bit embarrassed about. For example, we improved how Zois recognize and find the proper entrance when visiting a house, and we also fixed issues that made it difficult to perceive furniture slots."
The latest update reflects this commitment to user feedback, integrating fixes and improvements alongside new content planned for December.
Key Updates and Features
- Improved Navigation: Zois now have improved pathing logic for returning home.
- Building & Placing: Visual guides were added for certain furniture types to simplify placement, and windows are now freely adjustable in size.

- Development has begun on the "infamously complicated" strollers, and new baby animations have been added, such as failed attempts at flipping over.
- Zois now only brush their teeth at home.
- When surrounded by music, Zois can now show off their best dance moves.

Hotfix 19.11.2025 Summary
The recent hotfix addressed issues across various areas:
- Gameplay Fixes: Fixed an issue where Zois would not clean the house (due to House Cleanliness not decreasing) and where crowd Zois repeatedly changed into swimwear near the beach in unsuitable weather (e.g., during a snowfall).
- Build Mode Fixes: Fixed errors related to floor tile size resetting, deleting decks also removing underlying floor tiles, and issues with the search autocomplete list in the Property Presets tab.
- UI/UX Fixes: Solved problems where main UI elements overlapped, could not be moved, or had their layout changed when continuing from a save file.
Multiplayer is Coming to inZOI
The biggest revelation came during a recent YouTube interview where the director of inZOI announced that a multiplayer aspect is officially in development.
Surprisingly, the inspiration for this decision came from none other than the President of South Korea, Lee Jae Myung. Kjun recounted the President's visit to the studio, during which Lee Jae Myung immediately steered the discussion toward inZOI, offered his opinion, and suggested, "Shouldn't we add multiplayer to the artificial world and then put ads on the billboards to boost sales?"
Kjun confirmed, "inZOI is indeed developing a multiplayer aspect to the game," stating that this news began to leak out following that meeting.
While no launch date was provided, this massive feature is now officially confirmed, significantly raising the stakes for the life sim competitor.
