Xoxo Legacy Challenge

The Xoxo Legacy Challenge is a modded 5-generation legacy challenge for The Sims 4, created by Storytellerwhims. It is designed for mature players and focuses on drama, romance, and adult themes. The challenge uses a variety of mods to enhance storytelling and gameplay, and it encourages players to follow the rules as best they can while allowing for some flexibility.

General Rules

You can adjust these rules to your liking. Just follow them as best you can.

• Normal or long lifespan is suggested. Long is better for more in-depth gameplay.
• This is a modded legacy; the mods are linked below.
• This legacy is for more mature players. Be aware that certain topics will be mentioned.
• You can cheat money for story purposes. You can also cheat to move Sims out of and into homes. Otherwise, no cheating.
• If you fall in love with the legacy and want to play it, use the hashtag #sims4xoxolegacy and tag Storytellerwhims.

Generation 1 – Late Bloomer

The heir grew up feeling behind everyone else, teased for hitting puberty late, judged for having no romantic experience, and even kicked off the cheer squad for being “too innocent.” Afraid of being mocked, they avoided crushes and kept to themselves. After graduation, away from the pressure and gossip, they finally had room to explore who they were and build confidence privately. One night with someone from their past made them realize nothing was wrong with them at all — they were simply a late bloomer, now ready to step into adulthood on their own terms.

Aspiration: Soulmate

Traits: Unflirty and Active

Career: Athletic

Goals:

• Start the generation as a teen with no romantic interactions until Young Adult.
• Be bullied or disliked by at least 3 classmates.
• Get kicked out of the Cheer Squad for being lame. “Just quit in gameplay” (High School Years pack required).
• Get good grades in high school and graduate.
• Watch “spicy videos” to learn how to woohoo (Cin Erotique Mod required) and Self Woohoo (Lumpinou Relationship and Pregnancy Mod required).
• As a Young Adult, have your first woohoo with someone from your teen years.
• Join the Professional Athlete career and reach level 5.
• Build Charisma skill to level 5 and max Fitness skill.
• Marry the one you first woohooed with. Have a child or children.

Generation 2 – Too Much

The heir has always felt everything intensely, craving romance in a way people told them was “too much.” Unlike their parent, they matured early and rushed toward connection, which led to a complicated moment with a family friend that crossed a line and left them overwhelmed. Embarrassed and afraid of facing the fallout, they left home to start over somewhere new, convinced that maybe they really are too much — even though they are just someone who loves deeply.

Aspiration: Romantic Explorer

Traits: Romantic and Hot-Headed

Career: Journalism (Journalism (Sims 2 Remake) Career mod required)

Goals:

• Live at home as a Young Adult for at least a short period.
• Have a negative relationship with at least one parent due to your impulsive behavior.
• Keep a journal or write poetry regularly (Parenthood or Base Game).
• Form a romantic relationship with someone older your parents are friends with.
• Max the Writing skill.
• Join the Journalism career and reach level 7.
• Have a new romance or two once you move out.
• Have a child or children.

Generation 3 – Creepy Crush

The heir has always been drawn to danger — or maybe just to the people they should avoid. There was someone in the neighborhood named Tom who lingered a little too long, watched a little too closely, and while everyone else kept their distance, the heir didn’t. Curiosity turns into a reckless choice, leading them to become a creep just like Tom. It all gets a little too much to deal with. Always watching others, so they dump them. Maybe Tom was only in it for the thrill — or was that the heir all along?

Aspiration: Chief of Mischief

Traits: Jealous and Outgoing

Career: Stunt Performer (Stunt Performer Career mod required)

Goals:

• As a Young Adult, start a romantic relationship with Peeping Tom (Wicked Whims required).
• Have woohoo at three different lots with Tom.
• Perform at least 5 Mischief interactions on them (you’re drawn to chaos).
• Reach level 5 Mischief before breaking up.
• Join the Stunt Performer career and reach level 5.
• Have one on-set feud with a coworker.
• Complete the Chief of Mischief aspiration.
• Find someone who has the Mean trait and is accepting of your chaos. Date and marry them. Have a child or children.

Generation 4 – Nudists Have More Fun

Clothing is for those who follow the rules. Being naked is the most freeing thing for the heir. Streaking becomes their hobby and even attracts others to join them in doing yoga, just as it was written in a religion somewhere. They enjoy life by forming a club of other nudists who enjoy being natural and partying afterward. The club is viewed negatively, but the heir believes in freedom of expression!

Aspiration: Nudist Aspiration

Traits: Loves the Outdoors and Party Animal

Career: Yoga Instructor

Goals:

• Your Sim must spend at least 50% of their day nude (use streaking, sauna, skinny dipping, or nudist mods if you have them).
• They cannot wear formalwear unless forced by the game (weddings, work uniforms, etc.).
• They must live in a home with an outdoor shower or natural bathing area.
• Max the Wellness skill.
• Must require nudity (or streaking) as a club activity. Must include at least 5 members.
• Your club must gain a negative reputation at least once (fight, scandal, public indecency, etc.).
• Your Sim must defend the club publicly (social interactions, social media posts, etc.).
• Your Sim must have at least one romantic partner who joins the nudist club.
• They must have one relationship scandal (affair, love triangle, or public woohoo).
• They must raise at least one child who is embarrassed by their lifestyle.
• Teach at least 20 yoga classes.

Generation 5 – Fifty Shades of Sims

The heir is shy and afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone. After university, they meet a Sim who is anything but vanilla, and step into a world of dominance and submissiveness. They don’t decide — the other Sim does. Not allowed to commit, they shun the love they were scandalous with. Now fifty shades of Sims is their life.

Aspiration: Big Happy Family or Nerd Brain (your pick)

Traits: Socially Awkward and Bookworm

Career: College Student / Any Career

Goals:

• Start university with no romantic experience. Graduate from any degree.
• Choose a career of your choosing — modded or not. (If modded, use KiaraSims4Mods careers.)
• Max any skill.
• Go on one awkward date that ends in embarrassment (the Socially Awkward trait will help).
• Have 0 romantic bars with anyone until you meet them.
• Read 5 romance books trying to understand love instead of experiencing it.
• Do BDSM Wicked Whims interactions with your dominant partner. (Wicked Whims mod required.)
• Get your heart broken by them, then decide if you reconnect — after finding out that you’re pregnant!
