10 small interesting mods for The Sims 4
Here’s a collection of my favorite small mods that subtly enhance, improve and enrich the gameplay.
1. Functional broom – perfect for cleaning up off-the-grid lots.
2. Sit on the floor – expands the "sit on the floor" action: you can read, eat, drink, chat, plus it includes new poses!
3. Needs don't decay during sleep – I have the version where fun and social needs don’t drop. I don't know about you, but in the morning, I either want to kill someone or just die myself – socializing is the last thing on my mind!
4. At-home pedicure (and manicure) – it's a mystery why the "Spa day" update didn’t include the option to paint your own nails, but modders fixed that oversight. The mod features high-quality animations, and you can even chat while doing it.
5. Functional piggy banks – I know there are mods with full banking system, but that's a bit too much for me. Instead, I save my simoleons in a cute little piggy bank.
6. Pastry bag for cupcakes – I actually love the cupcake machine, it’s fun, but like the observatory telescope, sometimes you just need something more compact. With this mod, your sim can bake cupcakes in the oven instead.
7. Water bowl for dogs from this set – in general, I don't use CC for building, but this bowl is a must-have for me. As a dog owner whose pet seems to drink more than eat, it’s sad to see the in-game pets living without water. With this mod water appears when your sim fills the bowl with food.
8. Plate of croissants – just a cute little mod that adds the option to grab a croissant with your coffee.
9. Personal hygiene – one of my latest additions, and I love it! I removed the hand hygiene module since sims already run off to wash their hands (in another city) after using the bathroom. Haven't noticed any annoying moodlets, it's a nice touch to their daily routine.
10. Mood animation replacement – this mod provides calmer facial expressions on the control panel. I actually recommend downloading everything from this creator, especially the reduced emotions for sims. Maybe those smiles will stop being so creepy!
