One of my absolute favorite mods for family gameplay! This mod lets you send Sims off to do things outside your active lot without having to switch to them or tag along yourself. Think of it as sending them down a rabbit hole – except while they're away, they pick up interesting moodlets, build relationships with other characters, and develop their skills.
You can send a Sim to visit relatives, curl up with a book at the library, or hit the gym for a workout. My favorite part? You can send toddlers off to daycare for varying amounts of time – even when the adult Sims are still at home!

2. No Work! (New Holiday Tradition)
This mod adds a new holiday tradition that gives Sims the day off work on a chosen holiday – while still letting kids go to school (since the base game only has an option to give everyone the day off, which is a bit of a pain). In the base game, a pregnant Sim's belly grows really abruptly and often looks way out of proportion. This mod lets you choose from several belly size options.

Noticeably smaller belly across all trimesters.
*Small Slightly Bigger Belly
A smaller belly, but just a touch larger than the previous option.
*Small First Trimester Only

In the base game, nannies are kind of a disaster – they'll spend hours chatting away, watching TV, or completely ignoring a crying baby like it's none of their business. This mod gives their behavior a serious overhaul and turns them into actually helpful caregivers.
Once installed, nannies will consistently look after infants and toddlers, feed kids and put them to bed on time, stay on top of hygiene, and actually play and interact with children instead of just standing around doing nothing. And if you've got a big household, you can hire more than one nanny to keep up with the chaos.

20. Transfer Inventory
One of LittleMsSam's most practical mods – a real godsend for anyone playing with large households, running challenges, or just fed up with manually dragging items between Sims one by one. After installing, a new interaction appears that lets you quickly transfer the contents of one Sim's inventory to another, move items from a Sim's inventory to the household inventory, send things back the other way, or pass items between family members – no tedious item-by-item dragging required.
