13 Small Sims 4 Mods for Cozy, Aesthetic & Comfortable Gameplay

1. Steady Sit & Seat Any Sim by amellce
Sims absolutely love to sit and eat on the couch when there's a table right next to them (can't really blame them for that), or get up as soon as they sit down – basically, create chaos. It's especially painful when you're trying to play out a family celebration or romantic dinner.
The "Steady Sit" mod solves this problem. Characters sit where you tell them to and for as long as you tell them to. Using the additional "Sit Together" feature, you can even make NPCs plant their butts down.
2. More Selectable Icons (for Clubs, Holidays, SimTuber Avatars and Lifestyle Brands) by Zerbu
This mod adds over 1500 icons to choose from for clubs, holidays, brands, lifestyles, and so on. It includes icons from all existing expansion packs.
I absolutely love using it to create my own custom holidays in the calendar. It makes gameplay more interesting and dynamic!
3. Buy a better Mattress by LittleMsSam
This is a wonderful mod that allows you to upgrade mattresses on any bed. I use it when I like the look of some cheap bed but aren't happy with the energy and discomfort stats. You can pay extra and the mattress on the bed will get better, sims will sleep well and won't wake up with a bad back. Over time, mattresses wear out and need replacing, which adds realism!
4. Sleep All Night by LittleMsSam
It drives me absolutely crazy when sims jump up in the middle of the night and go hang out. This mod makes sims sleep until morning, even if their energy bar filled up at 3 AM.
5. More Resolutions by adeepindigo
For Christmas, New Year's, or Birthdays, there are more goals available that you can assign to characters.
For example:
* Get engaged
* Get married
* Read more books

* Strengthen mental health

6. More Columns in CAS by weerbesu
In the base game there are 2 columns in Create a Sim mode. With the release of over 100 different DLCs and kits, finding the right hairstyle or outfit has become less convenient. That's exactly why the creator made this mod and increased the number of columns in Create a Sim mode.
Choose your version depending on your screen resolution and install ONLY ONE VERSION.
7. Stand Still in CAS by MizoreYukii
Another mod for convenient character styling. Normally, sims actively showcase their personality traits, move around, and don't stop for a second. This complicates character creation. The Stand Still in CAS mod gets rid of this minor inconvenience.
8. Expanded Pregnancy Options by LittleMsSam
The mod contains several modules and includes changing belly size for pregnant sims, and most importantly – expanding pregnancy capabilities! Finally, you can swim in the pool and do yoga.

9. No Auto Food Grab after Cooking by LittleMsSam
The mod is tiny but super convenient. Especially when you have a large household or you're preparing for a celebration.
A sim will cook food and that's it! They won't immediately taste it, even if they're not hungry.
10. No Standing Up to Greet by LittleMsSam
Characters are so happy to see each other that they jump up from their seats to wave at a neighbor or even a sibling they haven't seen since yesterday :)
This mini-mod allows sims to greet each other while staying seated.
11. Better and Longer Prom by Lorea
This mod makes prom more realistic: characters and NPCs behave more naturally, prom lasts longer, and event goals with dancing and photo booths complete correctly, making it easier to achieve gold level for the event.
With this mod, I finally fell in love with playing out prom in The Sims!
12. Friends Share Beds by Waffle
When you were a teenager, did you sleep over at friends' houses? Whisper secrets under one blanket, or maybe just share a bed at a hotel? The Sims considers this unacceptable, but the mod creator gave us the opportunity for wholesome gameplay.

This affects their future relationships and adds depth to character interactions. This mod has been in my mods folder since the very beginning and is still there!
