8 great picnic spots in The Sims 4

Many of you have already explored the new " Lovestruck" expansion pack for The Sims 4, and we thought a picnic in a beautiful location would be the perfect idea for a romantic date or family outing. So pack that new picnic blanket into your sims' inventory, grab plenty of tasty treats (remember to bring something to drink too), and head to these stunning spots to soak in the romance and snap some beautiful photos! 

Picnic with a bay view 

Neighborhoods: Co Sapa 

Nearest lot: Tam Nhang Sands 

If you're seeking tranquility and seclusion, this spot is just perfect. Sun, warm crystal-clear water, what could be better for a honeymoon, for example? To reach this stunning location, you'll need to cross over to the opposite shore from the lot. There you'll find a large beach with a cave, and to the right of it a smaller secluded beach that's perfect for a photo :)

Cliffside picnic with a waterfall view 

Neighborhoods: Galloping Gulch 

Nearest lot: Canyon Crossing 

This location is perfect for fans of westerns or anyone who loves atmospheric settings. We suggest watching a stunning sunset with a campfire, a tent and a breathtaking view of the waterfall from the cliff's edge. Near The Canyon Crossing you'll spot a stone bridge, and to the left of the bridge you can set up for your picnic.

Urban picnic 

Neighborhoods: Crawdad Quarter 

Nearest lot: Magnolia Blossom Park 

If your sims don't have time for a long trip, you can set up a lovely picnic right in the heart of Willow Creek. Just a bit to the left of the park, you'll find a charming little meadow, perfect for a relaxing family outing.

Twilight vibes picnic 

Neighborhoods: Plumbite Cove 

Nearest lot: Little Falls Nook 

The little town of Copperdale is full of hidden gems, and one of them bears a striking resemblance to Edward and Bella's favorite meadow. To create the perfect date for your sims, head towards the small wooden bridge near Little Falls Nook that leads into the woods. Once you've crossed, go a bit further and you'll find the enchanting meadow. It's the ideal spot for a Twilight-inspired picnic!

Neighborhoods: Mua Pel'am 

Nearest lot: Admiral’s Wreckage 

We’ve discovered a hidden gem that closely resembles the iconic island from the movie “The Beach”. This secluded spot is surrounded by cliffs and small islands, offering maximum privacy. To reach this idyllic location, head to the island behind the volcano. There you’ll find a small, serene beach - your perfect picnic spot.

Rustic picnic 

Neighborhoods: Old New Henford 

Nearest lot: 2 Olde Mill Lane 

The charm of an old mill, a gentle river, a quaint bridge and lush greenery will bring warm and a cozy atmosphere to your photos. Gather your family, cross the bridge near 2 Olde Mill Lane to the opposite bank, and you’ll find the perfect grassy spot for a picturesque rustic picnic.

Waterfall picnic 

Neighborhoods: Granite Falls Forest 

Nearest lot: Granite Falls Forest  

Just above the Granite Falls Forest preserve you'll discover an incredibly picturesque lake, perfect for a scenic picnic. Imagine the stunning photos you can capture with this view! To find the spot, simply head towards the preserve and follow the sound of the waterfall.

Neighborhoods: Cavalier Cove

Nearest lot: Hound's Head

Tropical sandy beaches aren’t the only great spots for picnics. In Brindleton Bay, there’s a wonderful location for a cozy bonfire with friends. You'll find it just to the right of Hound's Head, where your sims can enjoy a unique view of the lighthouse.
